REGULAR FRIDAY NIGHT RACING RETURNS FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 3RD
High-School Warrior Special Headlines Racing Action this Friday
Kick off your Labor Day Weekend by “gettin’ dirty” at Paducah International Raceway this Friday night, September 3rd! All your weekly favorites including the Super Late Models, Pro (Crate) Late Models, Modifieds, Street Stocks, 4-Cylinder Warriors, and Kentucky Vintage will be in action. There will also be a High-School Warrior Special sponsored by Cunningham Machine. This marks the first time the HS Warriors will be competing for more than a trophy and bragging rights.
Pit Gates open at 4:00 PM and Grandstands open at 5:00 PM. Hot Laps are at 6:30 PM and racing starts at 7:00 PM. Tickets are $12 for Adults and Children 12 and under are Free. Pit Admission is $25.

Poncho Elder Shows that Racing is Even Better the Second Time Around
Many racers are second- or third-generation drivers who followed in their father’s footsteps, or tire tracks, to start their racing career. Poncho Elder shares a very different story.
“(I) used to work the races driving wrecker 16-years ago… (I) was bored watching the races,” Elder shared. He began watching a man named Phil Walker, and several years later Elder built his own race car.
